Geoscience Ireland, in collaboration with the Irish Mining and Quarrying Society, will be hosting the ‘Mining Ireland’ conference on Oct 8 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin Airport.
This October 3rd, Ireland welcomes seven international financial institutions and development agencies to Dublin. Enterprise Ireland, in collaboration with Geoscience Ireland, Dept. Finance and Dept. of Foreign Affairs will host the conference at Eastpoint Business Park, Dublin 3. There will be opportunities for companies to have 1-2-1 meetings with World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank, UNIDO, African Development Bank, European Investment Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
Sean Canney TD, Minister of State for Natural Resources, has welcomed the results of a survey of the 38 companies in the Geoscience Ireland cluster that showed turnover for 2018 stands at €1,024,519,082 and that 253 net new jobs were created last year. The Geoscience Ireland business cluster is operated by Geological Survey Ireland, a division of the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment, and assists Irish companies in winning business in international markets.
