Our Role

ERM is the lead  environmental and social consultant on a PFS study (including all EIAs and an international ESIA) for a  proposed underground lithium mine in northwestern Serbia.  Combining Serbian, EU and IFC criteria is complex and  challenging. Key issues include biodiversity (many protected species); cultural heritage (potential for significant archaeological finds) and local resettlement.
