SLR carried out geological appraisal of the mineral potential of a structurally complex Proterozoic province, through review of historical data, airborne magnetics, geological mapping, geochemical sampling and application of metallogenic models to observed geology, alteration and structural setting.
Project Objectives/Outcomes
The objective was to assess the potential for a range of commodities using a variety of metallogenic models, including Cu, Au, Fe-oxide-Cu-Au; Ni-Cu and possible VMS hosted base metals. A costed exploration programme was designed to test defined target areas.
Our Role
Geological appraisal to determine the multi-commodity mineral potential of an early stage, large-scale prospecting licence.
Provision of a phased and costed exploration programme to test defined targets
