The two proposed tanks for the storage of distillate fuel at the Makkah Power plant were 29m in diameter and 17m high which will be filled to 15.5m, with a capacity of 10,000m3. The foundation comprised of a reinforced concrete ring beam enclosing a compacted stone formation.
BLP also provided a full package of instrumentation and control, mechanical, electrical and civil for the integration of three additional 10,000m3 storage tanks, which are connected into the existing system within the plant.
