Project Objectives/ Outcomes

The development of TII Standards and Technical documents relating to the design, maintenance and management of pavements on national roads, providing a current set of comprehensive standards and specifications that are fit for purpose and in line with best international practice and technology.

Our Role

Lot 4 of the TII Standards Commission provides for the development of TII Standards and Technical documents relating to the design, maintenance and management of pavements on national roads. The Services to be provided under Lot 4 include the ongoing review and revision of the pavement design and materials documents contained in the TII Publications system. It includes a review of published standards, technical papers and research reports to support revisions to the TII documents with focus on the development of revised TII documents and liaison with the Commission Coordinator for publication in the TII Publications system.

Lot 4 also covers activities associates with pavement asset management including pavement maintenance, repair & renewal and other general asset management processes. The objective is to review, revise and develop TII Standards and Technical documents and liaise with Commission Coordinator for publication in the TII Publications system. Technical advice and support to TII on pavement asset management is also provided.
