Project Objectives
Jeddah Development & Urban Regeneration Company intends to develop Wadi Al Asla (WAA) located 20km east of Jeddah to provide a significant open space and recreational development for Jeddah and its environs with a proposed resident population of 150,000 to 180,000.
The project involves master planning, architectural, engineering, waste & wastewater management, flood management and other specialist services. The scope of services is to develop a master plan for the 120km2 site and bring the master plan through to detailed infrastructure design stage.
Our Role
Geoscience Ireland team is providing utility design services for potable & fire water supply, wastewater and irrigation systems to serve the area’s users and developers. The irrigation will utilise recycled treated sewage effluent (TSE).
