Anber Engineering Services Joins Geoscience Ireland (GI)
Geoscience Ireland (GI) is delighted to welcome Anber Engineering Services (Anber) as a new member. Anber is a global, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in geotechnical, civil, structural, electrical, and grid engineering for renewable energy—including onshore and offshore wind, solar PV—as well as large-scale infrastructure projects.
Bernard Casey founded Anber in early 2025, after a distinguished career of more than 35 years delivering major renewable energy and infrastructure projects worldwide, including serving as Chief Operations Officer (APAC) at Mainstream Renewable Power. He developed the geotechnical investigation strategy and led the engineering that supported the consent for the 450 MW Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm in Scotland as well as the 1.2 GW Hornsea 1 project – one of the world’s largest offshore wind projects, located off the coast of England.
He established Anber with a core group of senior technical experts based in Ireland and Vietnam, many of whom previously worked together on utility-scale renewable energy developments across the Asia–Pacific region. Visit www.anbereng.com for more information.
Welcoming Anber Sean Finlay, Director of GI said;
” Anber with its deep knowledge of the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors is a valuable addition to the GI network of expert engineers and scientists who are leading energy transformation and infrastructure development in over 50 countries.
