Project Objectives/Outcomes

Provide the client (Irish Water) with a resilient water storage system for future water demand on the islands –  Inis Óirr and Inis Meáin This objective is sought by proposing the construction of raw water storage tanks, with the largest tank having a capacity of 4,5 00m3.

Our Role

 

Arup is involved in the detailed design of the raw water storage tanks and well as the task of seeking planning permission to construct the tanks in areas considered as high scenic status.
