GDG Joins ERM Dolphyn Project Team
Geoscience Ireland (GI) member Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG), is supporting fellow GI member ERM in its development of ERM Dolphyn, which comprises in situ production of hydrogen, powered by a floating turbine.
The ERM Dolphyn Project – ERM Dolphyn ERM Dolphyn Green Hydrogen – led by ERM – enables offshore wind resources to contribute to hydrogen production, by bringing together the latest floating wind and hydrogen production technologies.
The offshore infrastructure associated with the project will include a pipeline, and mooring and anchoring systems for the floating turbine. Further information on the project is available at ermdolphyn.erm.com.
GDG is supporting the project with the development of survey requirements and planning.
Speaking about the project, Paul Doherty, Managing Director of GDG, said “Sustainability continues to drive the sector and GDG is ideally placed to support it, particularly with our expertise in floating turbines and its contribution to hydrogen production.”
, remediation design, environmental due diligence and auditing and environmental management systems focussed on providing operational environmental management planning on projects.
Its principal areas of expertise are Infrastructure; Renewables; Urban development; Offshore and Marine and Research & Development.
