Geoscience Ireland Appoints Market Advisors
Geoscience Ireland (GI) is delighted to announce the appointment of two Market Advisors: Elizabeth Murphy and Stephen Walsh.
With the continued growth and scaling of GI Member Companies in international markets, Elizabeth and Stephen will target and track market intelligence, tender and business prospects in GI target markets, namely: the UK, the Nordics, the Balkan and Accession States, the Gulf region and sub-Saharan Africa.
The Market Advisors will join Sean Finlay, Director, and Andrew Gaynor, Business Development Manager, in connecting the 28 Member Companies to export opportunities.
Profiles
Elizabeth Murphy (elizabeth.murphy@gsi.ie) joins GI from TOBIN Consulting Engineers. From Dublin, Elizabeth holds an MSc Accounting and brings project and tendering coordination experience to GI. As a Project Analyst with TOBIN, Elizabeth worked closely with key Eirgrid projects.
Stephen Walsh joins GI from the planning consultancy Future Analytics (built and spatial environment) where he was a Senior Planning and Research Consultant, and has previously worked as Planning Projects Officer with the Irish Planning Institute. Stephen, from Clonmel, holds an MSc Local Development & Innovation and an MA Planning & Sustainable Development. He has experience in researching and tendering for public, private and research (H2020) projects.
