Trinity Consultants, Inc.® (Trinity), an international EHS, engineering, and science consulting firm based in Dallas, Texas, announces the acquisition of AWN Consulting (AWN), an environmental and risk management consulting firm located in Dublin, Ireland.

AWN provides environmental, acoustics, and risk management services to industrial and public sector clients throughout Ireland and in Europe. Client sectors include semi-conductor manufacturing, data centers, chemical distribution, pharmaceuticals/bio-pharmaceuticals, wind farms, real estate development, and public infrastructure. The firm comprises more than 40 experienced scientists and engineers as well as field technicians and administrative staff. AWN assists its clients with air quality impact assessments, acoustics design, process safety management under the Seveso III Directive/COMAH, preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments, and water/waste-related compliance.

AWN was founded in 2000 by Terry Donnelly, Dr. Fergal Callaghan, Chris Dillworth, Dr. Edward Porter with Teri Hayes, and Damian Kelly, and Stephen Smyth joining later to make up AWN’s current senior management team, all of whom will remain in place following the acquisition. Regarding the transaction, AWN Managing Director Terry Donnelly commented “The AWN leadership team and staff are thrilled about this exciting new phase in our company’s development. Trinity’s appreciation for niche technical expertise, commitment to client service, and a fine-tuned approach to operations management is a great fit with the AWN culture. We anticipate many positive outcomes for our employees and clients as a result of this transaction.”

Mike Remsberg, Trinity Managing Director, noted, “We are excited to continue expanding our international footprint especially with a firm as aligned with Trinity’s core value as AWN. In terms of technical excellence, client responsiveness, and talent depth the similarities are numerous. We look forward to learning from each other and enabling AWN to continue along its path to success.” AWN will continue to operate out of its Dublin location.
