GI member company Fehily Timoney & Co (FTC) has acquired Applied Ground Engineering Consultant’s (AGEC) services; the acquisition will double FTC’s geotechnical capacity and will provide AGEC’s clients access to a greater range of services.

FTC and AGEC have collaborated on projects in Ireland and the UK for more than 20 years including major Irish road projects such as the Dunkettle Interchange in Cork and the N4 in Sligo. The €420 million Kilgallioch Wind Farm in Scotland for Scottish Power Renewables is an example of a large scale project in the UK.

AGEC has also delivered projects in the Nordics while FTC has a strong track history in the Gulf market.
