FLI Group acquires UK based soil and water remediation company: QDS

May 22, 2018/in News

The FLI Group has announced the acquisition of QDS, a UK based industry-leading soil and water remediation solutions company.

Michael Flynn, Group Executive Chairman, said: “We believe that the increased depth of technical competence and experience that is now available to the FLI Group through this acquisition will significantly enhance our capacity to deliver excellent solutions to existing and new clients in both existing and new markets.”

The FLI Group, comprising FLI-QDS Remediation and VertaseFLI in the UK, is a leading provider of soil and groundwater remediation solutions and is recognised as market leading specialists in the UK remediation sector.

The acquisition was welcomed by Sean Finlay, Director of Geoscience Ireland, who said: “The FLI Group has grown its position in the UK market considerably over the past number of years and today’s announcement of its acquisition of QDS demonstrates its specialisation in the remediation sector and its growing client base. We wish them every success in their future ventures.”

The FLI Group joined Geoscience Ireland in 2013 and has offices in Ireland, the UK and France, and has delivered remediation and lining projects in Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania.
