FLI Group acquires Carlow Precast

June 25, 2018/in News

FLI Group has announced the acquisition of Carlow Precast Concrete Engineering which provides first-class manufacturing of off-site concrete products to the Irish and UK markets.

Michael Flynn, Chair of FLI Group, outlined the future strategy of FLI Carlow “to further strengthen its position as market leader in the UK and Irish storm-water attenuation sector, and to further grow our strong relationships and market presence in the water treatment and management sector and in the growing renewable energy sector in both the UK and Ireland.”

FLI Carlow will offer customers an enhanced portfolio of products, technologies and services through collaboration with the other FLI Group companies, complemented by further product development and expansion of their products and services range. The rapidly growing market sectors to which FLI Group provides include water infrastructure, roads infrastructure, specialist civil engineering, marine, energy and coastal erosion.

FLI Carlow will build on the solid foundation of the FLI brand together in the UK and Irish markets; the Group’s strategy will include developing links with ‘Carlow’s’ existing client base and that of FLI Water and VertaseFLI which are well-established in the UK.

FLI Group also recently announced the acquisition of QDS, a UK based industry-leading soil and water remediation solutions company.
