Geoscience Ireland attending Mining INDABA 2018

Geoscience Ireland (GI) will be attending this year’s Mining INDABA in Cape Town, South Africa (February 5th -8th). The GI network comprises over 30 Member Companies which deliver expertise to the mining, water, environmental and infrastructure sectors. GI is supported by Geological Survey Ireland and Enterprise Ireland (the national export agency).

GI’s experience in Africa extends to all parts of Sub-Saharan Africa and has a strong history of delivering projects to the private and public sectors, and projects supported by International Financial Institutions.

The Member Companies project experience includes geology, mineral exploration, mining and quarrying, enabling infrastructure, land access and resettlement planning, environmental assessment and remediation, due diligence, and institutional capacity building.

Sean Finlay, GI Director, will be joined by 7 Member Companies including Mincon plc, PW Group, PW Mining International, SLR, ERM, ARUP and Intersocial Consulting.
